Here is an article from CNET.com.
This article talks about how a couple from Pittsburgh is suing Google for showing photos of their home on the Google map search. This is a ridiculous idea for the couple from Pittsburgh. By law, Google can show their address on their website. Google probably gets many lawsuits from people wishing that Google will do something different, like take off their address on their map search. Even if they put a sign up at the end of the so called "private road", there is still a road there, and it's worth letting other people know about it. Is this couple from Pittsburgh gonna have a lawsuit against the people that created the GPS (global positioning system) as well? The GPS could also find their home, and a GPS actually tells you where you are going!
I believe that this lawsuit is not worth anyones time, it should be thrown out right away. In this article, it states that another lawsuit was filled in California for almost the same reason. And the people who filled this lawsuit in California were told to pay the court costs of the other party! I believe that if this couple from Pittsburgh continues to press this matter against Google, they will just get the book thrown at them!
