Microsoft tries AGAIN to get Yahoo
Here is a link from CNN.com.
Microsoft is trying to buy out Yahoo, AGAIN! The bid this time is $44.6 billion and Yahoo says that that price is too low. Too low? $44.6 billion is quite alot of money to throw around, and if any company is willing to pay that much for a website, why say no? But as I wrote that last sentence, I find myself getting angry at the idea that Microsoft will control another part of the web. As good as Microsoft is, I don't think that just because they have all that money, means that they can go and buy whatever company they want too!
Is the idea to just keep buying companies and websites until Microsoft if so large that they can't buy anymore companies and websites? Or is the idea to get so big that people start to dislike Microsoft for getting so large and controlling everything? I think that Microsoft should simmer down, and understand that not every one wants to be taken over so easily with money. I also think that Google and other smaller companies and websites should step in, and get their word across that they will not stand by and watch as Microsoft gets what they, as easily as they want! Or we could all just bow to the great Microsoft? No, I do not like that idea!
